The Government of Pakistan has approved the immediate dispatch of critical humanitarian assistance to Palestine, following directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to an official statement, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), led by Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik, has been tasked with arranging two chartered cargo aircraft, each capable of carrying 100 tons of essential relief items. The aid packages will include urgently needed food rations and other sustenance materials.
The special flights will be routed through Jordan and Egypt to ensure the timely and secure delivery of assistance to Palestinians in need. Pakistan’s ambassadors in both countries will coordinate the receipt and onward transportation of the aid to the West Bank and other affected areas.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with NDMA officials, will see off the aid flights from Islamabad.
The Government of Pakistan reiterated its steadfast support for the Palestinian people during this critical humanitarian crisis, stressing its commitment to ensuring the relief reaches affected communities swiftly and effectively.
